Learning the Strategy

Following the children’s interest while using the strategy is always encouraged, however, it is also important to reengage the children so the strategy can be implemented and used for its intended purpose. Book Embedded Vocabulary Instruction will lead to a broader vocabulary and better oral language skills. For a quick reminder of each of the steps in this strategy, see the Quick View document in the Using the Strategy step.
